Product Description

 

Aluminum hydroxide, triple alumina or hydrated alumina with the chemical formula Al (OH) 3 is an inorganic chemical substance in a pinkish white color that is insoluble in water and in mineral acids such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid Acid is soluble. A major part of aluminum alpha hydroxide is produced to produce aluminum metal, and each ton of alumina produces 500 kg of aluminum metal.

Aluminum hydroxide is also used to produce refractory products, abrasives, ceramics, glass, metal glazes and electrocorundum. It is also used in polymers as filler of polyester and epoxy resin. Aluminum hydroxide is also used to produce many of the aluminum compounds, such as aluminum fluoride, synthetic cryolite, sodium aluminate, aluminum sulfate, aluminum oxide and various active alumina.

Aluminum hydroxide is used in the form of a very fine powder as a straw flame in extinguishing fire, filling in fibers, plastics, sponge rubber, wall constructors and toothpastes. Activated alumina is used as a water and gaseous adsorption agent, a catalyst or catalyst transporter and a smoothing agent. Electro-corundum with more than 80% Al2O3 is an important abrasive and abrasive material because of its high hardness and is used in the refractory industry and the production of hard concrete materials.
